History and Year of Establishment

            Technical High School (Hinthata) was opened at No.202 Block, Tar Ngar Sal, South Quarter, Hinthata on 1st August, 1977. Then, it was promoted as a Government Technical Institute on 20th December, 1982. In 1999 August 12, it was promoted as Government Technological College. And then, it has been promoted to Technological University by Dr.Soe Moe Tun (Associate Professor, Ph.D,EC).
